ONE TEXT OR CALL
COULD
WRECK IT ALL
Distracted driving is a dangerous
epidemic on America's roadways. In 2010 alone, over 3,000 people were killed in
distracted driving crashes.
The U.S. Department of
Transportation is leading the effort to stop texting and cell phone use behind
the wheel. Since 2009, we have held two national distracted driving summits,
banned texting and cell phone use for commercial drivers, encouraged states to
adopt tough laws, and launched several campaigns to raise public awareness
about the issue.
www.distraction.gov is your resource for learning more
about distracted driving. Get the facts, get involved, and help us keep
America's roadways safe.
Please pass this on to others. Let's get the word out!

Hello Everyone,
Community Alert: Suspicious person(s) are lurking through
neighborhoods looking for outgoing mail which might be checks for bills and or
UPS packages left on porches and stealing them. Reports have been made from
Mission Hills to Canoga Park.
If any of the outgoing mail may be a credit card payment and
someone steals it, they now have your credit card number, available credit line
and a good way to become a victim of "identity theft".
If you know you're not going to be at home, drop off your
outgoing mail at the PO Annex and or make other arrangement for UPS deliveries.
Avoid becoming a victim.
Please feel free to pass on this community alert.
Report all suspicious activity within your neighborhood. Only you know who belongs there and who does not.
Never put yourself in harms way.
Thank you and stay safe!

ALERT - a man in his 50's driving a blue Toyota car was spotted entering a neighbors yard. When approached he started acting weird, got in his car and left.
I have also spotted a White Van who approaches the Cul-De-Sac's off of Saloma as if to turn in and then drives away. At first I thought this was someone new to the neighborhood, but after seeing this happen for two weeks now I believe it is suspicious activity!

If you see someone that obviously doesn't belong or is doing something they shouldn't be, PLEASE report it. Lets keep our neighborhood clean, if you see furniture being dumped, call and have it removed.
